Description

The JFP472SA is a premium Japanese Washi tape which guarantees super sharp paint
lines. This strong Washi tape has an fibre-reinforced backing and a higher adhesion
level. It also has an improved backing that allows reliable adhesion of additional tapes.
Other tapes, such as the DFM058RS dropfilm with duct tape, adhere securely on top
for effective surface protection. Even after multiple layers of paint the tape neither
tears nor leaves adhesive residues during removal. Even when the paint is wet.

Because of the higher adhesion level the JFP472SA can be used on slightly damp
surfaces, like surfaces covered with drops of morning dew. In combination with a high
UV resistance of 16 weeks, the JFP472SA is a perfect choice for outdoor paintjobs.

This is how it’s used

The strong Washi tapes are used by plasterers, painters and in the automotive aftermarket. The tape is made of Japanese Washi paper and is resistant to tearing, provides super sharp paint lines and is thin. The latter means that it easily shapes itself to the surface so no paint gets under the tape.

In terms of application, these tapes are perfect for rough surfaces and slightly damp surfaces. If the job starts in the morning, and there’s no time to wait until the morning dew has dissipated, these tapes are perfect. The strong Washi Tapes are also suitable for masking paint or varnish, or for putty, plaster and stucco work.
